Introduction

The AFC MA Development Department focuses on strengthening MA administrations and providing the tools needed to grow the game at national level.

Department Objectives:

  • To provide MAs with practical tools, services and other support that enable them to run the most modern sports’ governing body possible and to develop football as the number one sport in their country.
  • To ensure that all regulations managed by the Department are correctly implemented with the relevant support of internal and external bodies to guarantee transparency and consistency, whilst always seeking to improve these regulations as required for overall development of AFC MAs.
  • To continue to take best practices for MA, league and club management and commercialisation to those that implement such activities.
  • To continuously seek more efficient internal practices to not only enable better implementation of all programmes but to also set the standard expected of football governing bodies in Asia.
