AFC now empowers the average Asian football fan to boost the chances of players of their choice in making the AFC Player of the Year 2008 short-list. With the Most Valuable Player (MVP) points earned in the AFC competitions counting towards the final selection of the AFC Player of the Year 2008 nominees, fans are invited to vote for the MVP of their choice.
