KUALA LUMPUR: Yehia Hachem of Lebanese club Al Nejmeh has been banned for two matches and fined USD 3000 by the AFC Disciplinary Committee for violent conduct in the AFC Cup semi-final first leg against Al Muharraq of Bahrain on September 26.

He was sent off in stoppage time of the match which Al Muharraq won 2-1.

Hachem will be ineligible for the AFC Cup semifinal second leg against Al Muharraq on October 17 and his club’s subsequent match in an AFC competition.
