BISHKEK: In the 'gold' medal match on Friday to decide the Kyrgyzstan League champion, Dordoi-Dynamo beat Shoro-SKA 5-3 on penalties to claim the title for the second consecutive year.
It was SKA who took first initiative as defender Marat Djumakeev scored the opener in the seventh minute but Dordoi captain Ruslan Sydykov's header restored parity in the 71st minute. Sydykov though turned villain when he was sent off three minutes later by Kayrat Slambekov, the referee from Kazakhstan. SKA though could not take advantage of their numerical superiority.
The match stood at 1-1 after extra time.
Dordoi goalkeeper Zakir Djalilov turned hero as he saved two of SKA's penalties.
