KATHMANDU: Duddley Lincoln Steinwall once again proved his mettle when it mattered most scoring twice to help Blue Star Sports Club storm into the semifinals of the AFC President's Cup beating Cambodia 's Hello United 3-2 in a crucial encounter here at the Dashrath Stadium on Monday. The 30-year-old defender scored the match-winner in the team's solitary goal victory over Pakistan 's WAPDA in their first match and also netted the face-saving goal in the team's 1-8 thrashing at the hands of Kyrgyzstan 's Dordoi-Dynamo. On Monday, Steinwall converted a penalty in the 32 nd minute to give side the lead but Hang Sokunthea levelled the scores for Hello United in the 60 th minute. It was Steinwall again who put Blue Star ahead in the 72 nd minute only to see his side concede a penalty in the 79 th minute, which was converted by H Sochetra to make it 2-2. In the dying moments of the game, Blue Star's Fawzan Mohamed put his name on the scoresheet and handed his side a semi-final berth. In the semi-finals on May 12, Blue Star will face Tajikistan's Regar TadAZ, while Kyrgyzstan's Dordoi-Dynamo, who surprisingly lost to Pakistan's WAPDA 0-1 in their last match on Monday, face Nepal's Three Star Club.
