KATHMANDU: Cambodia's Hello United boosted their chances of making it to the last four stage beating Pakistan's WAPDA 2-1 in their Group B match of the AFC President's Cup here at the Halchowk Stadium on Saturday.
United's H Sochetra netted both the goals for his side. WAPDA's Arif Mehmood put the Pakistani outfit ahead in the 16th minute but Sochetra levelled the score three minutes into the restart. He scored the match-winner in the dying moments of the game.
With this win they are tied with Sri Lanka's Blue Star Sports Club on three points but the Cambodian side occupy the second position due to superior goal difference.
Chinese Taipei's Taiwan Power Company will face Bhutan's Transport United, while Nepal's Three Star will take on Tajikistan's Regar TadAZ in Group A matches on Sunday.
