SINGAPORE – Home United defeated Young Lions 1-0 on Saturday to go second behind fellow AFC Cup 2008 quarter-finalists Singapore Armed Forces in the current S-League standings.
China-born Singapore international Shi Jiayi scored the only goal of the game against his former employers 11 minutes after the breather to take Home to 41 points, level on points with Super Reds but with a better goal difference.
