| Syria Cup: Al Karama in final |

| Al Karama fans young and old have seen their side reach the Syria Cup final. |
HOMS: AFC Champions League 2008 quarter-finalists Al Karama held Al Majd 1-1 to set up the Syria Cup final with Al Ittihad on Friday.
Syria League winners Al Karama, who had two away goals advantage after their 2-2 draw in the first leg of the semi-finals against the league runners-up, earned the draw after Jehad Al Hossain scored from the spot in the 53rd minute. Earlier, Raja Rafaee gave Al Majd the lead a minute into the restart.
Al Ittihad, who finished third in the league, defeated Hottain 1-0 away in the second leg to ensure a 3-1 aggregate victory. Abdu Fattah Al Agha scored the match-winner for Al Ittihad in the 72nd minute.
The final will be played on July 23.
Al Karama will host Japan’s Gamba Osaka in the first leg of their AFC Champions League quarter-finals on September 17.
