DUSHANBE: AFC President’s Cup 2008 semi-finalists Regar-TadAZ thrashed Ravshan 7-1 in the 18th round of Tajikistan League recently.

Davrondzhon Tukhtasunov opened the scoring for the defending champions in the fourth minute and Jamshed Ismoilov doubled the advantage in the 34th minute. Farkhodzon Kholbekov made it 3-0 three minutes later.

Safarali Karimov scored their fourth in the 56th minute and Jamshed Ismoilov added his second in the 72nd minute. A brace by Charles Nakuti in the 70th and 85th minute sealed the victory for Regar. Zafar Rustamov scored the consolation goal for Ravshan in the 71st minute.

Regar are now on 35 points after 14 games, three points less then Parvoz, who defeated CSKA Pamir 2-0 in their 15th match.
