| Dordoi-Dynamo are looking for a hat-trick of AFC President's Cup wins. |
KUALA LUMPUR: The draw for the AFC President's Cup 2008 semi-finals will take place at 1400 hours on Monday, June 30, 2008, at AFC House.
Four teams will be drawn for the semi-finals which kick off in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, on September 19 while the final of the fourth edition will be played on September 21 with all the matches being played at the Spartak Stadium.
Two Central Asian sides – Dordoi-Dynamo of Kyrgyzstan and Ashgabat of Turkmenistan – have booked their berths in the last four after topping their respective groups.
The winners of Group A which is scheduled to be contested from June 22-26 in Malaysia will enter the main competition as well as the best second-placed side from among the three groups.
Dordoi-Dynamo are the two-time defending champions having won the titles in Kuching (2006) and Lahore (2007) while the inaugural title was clinched by Regar-TadAZ of Tajikistan in Kathmandu in 2005.
