| Tajiks given Vision Asia challenge |
KUALA LUMPUR – AFC President Mohamed bin Hammam has told the Tajikistan Football Federation that the Central Asians have a lot of work ahead if they want to be the latest member association to be part of the AFC’s Vision Asia Project.
“The Tajikistan Football Federation needs to work very hard to meet the Vision Asia criteria,” said the AFC President.
“This project requires major changes and improvements of the [Tajikistan] national association administration, competition and club structure and at the grassroots and youth level.”
Bin Hammam made his remarks at a meeting at AFC House with a Tajikistan FA delegation led by Vice-President Valeriy Tursunov and General Secretary Sherali Davlatov, who expressed their willingness to embrace Vision Asia.
