KUALA LUMPUR: AFC has announced the names of 12 qualified teams for the next year’s AFC Under-16 Championship on Friday.

 

India, who defeated Saudi Arabia in strong Group C, have qualified for the tournament proper along side Syria, Yemen (Group A), Iran, Bahrain (Group B), Uzbekistan (Group D), China, Singapore (Group E), Japan, Indonesia (Group F), Australia (Group G) and Korea Republic (Group H).

 

The draw date and venue for the tournament will be announced at a later date.
