Kuala Lumpur:  Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) President, has sent his condolences to Football Association of Thailand President  Pol. Gen. Somyot Poompanmoung after hearing of the death of Thailand national team officials Nattapong Somsinsawas and Kasidet Klaklangsmorn. 

The AFC President extended his condolences to the family of the two officials who passed away on Friday following a car accident.

Somsinsawas was the manager of the Thailand National Team and Klaklangsmorn the media officer.

The AFC President also expressed his hope that physiotherapist Kamolchai Lohitya, who was seriously injured in the accident, recovers safely. 

"On behalf of the Asian Football Confederation and the entire Asian football family we send our deepest sympathies to the their families, their friends and colleagues and the Football Association of Thailand. This is a very sad day for football in Thailand," said the AFC President.
